When writing the personality of a character, is it better to give a narration describing them or bullet points detailing their prominent traits? Or can I just leave it blank and develop the character as I go along?

Those are all great ideas! Sometimes there’s an introduction period, or if you’re jumping into a game maybe the GM/DM describes a few basic traits that your character might have. It’s always a good approach to pick one trait that you really develop – like you’re afraid of spiders, or you have some voice you use in game, whatever you feel like you want to role play. One of my rogues is really loyal to her family so she always gives them loot or stashes it at their farm. I think you should work with your DM on a backstory, and they’ll let you present it at the way they want. Thanks for the ask!!
